2013 was my year for getting back to what matters.  Moments, people, stories.  I found that while one image to make an impact is important, a series of images to tell the full story, to show the emotion, excitement, joy, surprise, and love was what drew me in the most.  Seniors were a big part of this year and I really really really love being able to tell through photos a bit of who they are now, the person they are growing to be often makes appearances and something of who they have been comes though as well and it’s a thrilling thing to be able to create images that they can treasure, look back on and share.  Not as much travel, Chicago, New York no long distance vistas but that is okay, it’s important to remember that there is beauty and moments where ever you are, you just need to have your camera to capture them and your eyes open.  So many beautiful weddings, so many amazingly beautiful people.  So I get to do this for a living, and the hours of sorting, the full days of shooting, processing and the chasing littles about who absolutely do  NOT want their photos taken are all worth it.  Here are a few of the images that celebrate a girl in love photography for 2013.  Already looking forward to this post next year, but I’ll enjoy every day between now and then!  I have to stop adding to this post it’s getting too big, but I’ll be spending the next few weeks (months….) using my http://instagram.com/agirlinlovephotography to add and keep adding through the year (poor thing has been severely neglected) so want more (and more) follow us there this year!
Sarah GLOVE every single frame! You’ve captured some lovely moments this past year, Tommy and I can’t thank you enough <3
