It is NEVER easy for anyone in front of the camera, most people (especially photographers) don’t love that part of it.  The old joke is that is why they are photographers.. they want to stay on the other side, the anonymous side.   It would be no surprise to anyone who knows me that if I know someone doesn’t want their photo taken, I’m going to persistently work to get one of them.  A beautiful one.  One that shows them how WE see them, NOT how they see themselves.

Marc is much more comfortable behind the camera, so we brought it into the studio and took some photos of him with it, and some without.   I think we got a few beautiful looks into the kind and generous person he is.
