A good wedding is a series of meaningful moments. It is a ritual not only of promising one heart to another but opening those two hearts to everyone they love and trust to spend this time with them. Lane and Noah didn’t want anything contrived, they didn’t want to stage or set up anything. I wasn’t allowed at their first look (<3 l snuck around the corner of course) A quiet moment signing the wedding certificate took my breath away. No one was allowed to rush. The day was the hottest of the year and the City Club did an amazing job moving the ceremony indoors for the health and well being of the guests. No one blinked, the day went off without a hitch. We hung out after family photos and jammed, then walked around Ann Arbor as Lane and Noah celebrated their college days. (Lane requested we go get some photos in front of the Ants and I cheered, I’d been waiting for someone to ask for the Ants for a long time!) Friends and Family cheered as the cake was cut and the Hoopa quilt was hung for everyone to see something gifted to the couple square by square. The speeches had everyone in tears and the band kept everyone dancing until the end of the night. A most fantastic magically wonderful wedding.
